Get your flights to Nadi in Fiji, for as little as $408 return out of Sydney. If you're after an ultra-budget tropical getaway, then this is as good as it gets. Flights are in February, and prices are as low you're ever going to see. This is also one of the most cost-effective times to visit the island for smaller crowds and the same famously nice weather as always.

Jetstar's a budget airline so you'll have to add some extra for luggage, but it's still very well worth it.

The cheapest of the bunch run direct from Sydney and Adelaide, but you can also get thoroughly decent prices out of Melbourne, the Gold Coast and Hobart with one stopover.
