Coachella is fast approaching and we've gathered all the makeup inspiration you could ever need!
If there is one thing that's just as important as the festival outfit, it's your makeup! And doing your makeup is just as much fun as putting your outfit together – especially if they match!
However, finding inspiration on what look you want to go for can be a little tricky, so whether you're a makeup guru or just starting out with a love of beauty products, we've got some inspiration here for everyone. From the no-makeup makeup look to all-out rainbow makeup, these looks are going to be all the festival makeup inspiration you need!
1. The space cowboy look
Let's jump straight into the deep end with this ultra cool space cowboy look!
We absolutely love the white detailing and pink highlighter that gives this makeup a little extra something. Paired with some big hoop earrings and a wide fedora hat, it's a damn good festival look!
2. The powerful purple look
Go big or go home, right?
Bright eyeshadow is a super hot trend this season, especially at festivals. Ditch the blue eyeshadow and go for something a little richer and mure sultry with purple.
It fits the festival vibe and purple gives a more gypsy look and would work for both daytime and night-time.
3. The no-makeup makeup look
If you don't really like the full glam look or feel a little makeup challenged, fear not. Festival makeup doesn't have to always be super intense.
If you want something more natural looking then Gigi has got your makeup inspo covered. You can pretty much just do your everyday makeup look, throw on a few gems and presto, you're done!
4. The rainbow eye look
Now if you're really keen to stand out and turn some heads, this rainbow eye look is a 10/10.
It's definitely not for the faint-hearted but with a little elbow grease, you could be rocking this look at your next festival! If you're a little unsure on how to recreate it then jump on YouTube for an abundance of rainbow eyeshadow tutorials.
5. The flash tattoo look
Now, this look is for someone who, again, doesn't want to wear a whole lot of makeup.
You can easily rock a unique style at any festival with a range of gold flash tattoos! Hell, with these bad boys, you don't even need to wear makeup if you don't want to!
Simply apply to your face and it's done. Just don't forget the oil to get it off the next day.
6. The magical mermaid look
Fairies have had their festival day – it's now the year of the mermaid. Think holographic glitter, blues and purples! There's even an abundance of mermaid makeup like the entire Tarte mermaid collection!
You can recreate this look by simply placing a pair of fishnet stocking on your face and lightly dusting colourful powder over it. Add a bit of glitter, gems and lashes and boom, you're the little mermaid.
7. The golden goddess look
The abundance of colourful makeup looks may not really be your thing. That's cool.
You can never go wrong with warm brown tones and gold shimmers. Matching them with gold accents like gems and jewellery creates a glowing goddess look that is just to die for.
8. The pop-of-colour look
Not one for the faint-hearted but definitely a look to make you stand out... colourful eyelashes.
Whether you want to apply falsies or rock a bright mascara, this is an awesome look for someone who wants to do something different but not too over the top. Plus, you can literally do this look no matter what your skill level is!
9. The glitter galore look
The best part about festivals has to be how extra you can go and not one person can say a thing. You can roll around in an abundance of glitter and it's completely acceptable.
Therefore we love this glitter galore look as it's really easy. You can pretty much do your normal makeup routine with just the addition of as much glitter and gems as you want.
10. The bold lipstick look
Festivals are the perfect time to let your creative flag fly. They're also great to try out a look you wouldn't necessarily wear every day. So why not try your hand at a bold lip look?
This green lipstick makeup look is giving us serious Medusa vibes and we're kind of obsessed with it. The dark lipstick gives us major 90s makeup vibes too, and you can't go wrong with anything from the 90s.
