What is FEG?
FEG, also known as “Feed Every Gorilla”, is a hyper-deflationary cryptocurrency associated with the FEGex platform. Built to support both the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) blockchains, FEGex is a multi-chain decentralised exchange (DEX) that offers a plethora of decentralised finance-based applications. According to the project’s whitepaper, FEGex is aiming to build the “Google” of the DeFi ecosystem.
From a functional standpoint, FEGex features a SmartSwap exchange framework, fWrapping, staking, an auto-deployer for listing new tokens, and gas rebates. Most recently the project has developed a cryptocurrency launchpad platform known as SmartDeFi that offers users protection against notorious rug pulls and other crypto-based scams. The platform is governed by its native cryptocurrency, the FEG token. The token is designed to be hyper-deflationary in nature with a 2% transaction tax charged for all transactions. The 2% transaction tax is then equally split between token holders and the ecosystem’s burn wallet. Token holders can earn additional rewards from staking and can use the token to vote on platform development proposals.
