Here at Finder, we're all big fans of Face Halo – in fact, we've already reviewed just how well it works. We think that switching to a Face Halo is one of the best decisions you can make. You know it's better for your wallet because you're not spending on extras like makeup removers or cleansers. You know it's better for your skin because it cleans deeply, right into the pores.
But you probably didn't know that Face Halo is actually better for the environment too.
We got the chance to sit down with Face Halo founder Lizzy Pike and discuss how Face Halo is doing its bit for the environment – and why your skin loves Face Halo.
A brand at the forefront of sustainability, Pike says "there's no excuse for single use". Face Halo is a brand that has always been passionate about sustainability and very driven to help in the fight against single-use plastics and products.

Are they any good? Yes, read our review.
How much are they? $30 for a pack of three
Where can I buy them? Priceline, MYER, Adore Beauty or Face Halo Australia.
"Because you can use a Face Halo up to 200 times, it will replace approximately 500 makeup wipes," says Pike. "Some people use anywhere from two to five makeup wipes in one sitting to remove their makeup. And if they're not bio-degradable, they can take up to 100 years to breakdown."
We all know just how bad makeup wipes and baby wipes are for creating land waste, clogging drainage and choking sea life. Information from the UK Marine Conservation Society shows how wet wipes make up 93% of UK drainage blocks. The research also showed that wet wipes are 1 of the 10 most common pieces of litter washing up on beaches. Ew.

"There's so much less waste associated with Face Halo. We're really excited about that. You can hand wash and reuse a Face Halo after each use and once a week put it in the washing machine," says Pike.
"Customers can do their bit for the environment and know that their footprint is lower," she says. "It's great to know that customers are embracing sustainability and it's great that they know a Face Halo helps them do their bit to end single use."
But of course Face Halos have massive skin care benefits as well as being environmentally friendly.
"Because you're only using water, it doesn't disrupt the natural pH balance of your skin," says Pike.
Elevated or lowered skin pH levels have a whole list of nasty side effect. When the 5.5 pH level is disrupted, your skin can become oily, dry, flaky, rough, congested and more. Essentially, a disrupted pH level is not good! Cleansers or makeup removers can often throw out this balance whereas a Face Halo cleans without interfering with your skin's pH levels.
"Plus it's not stripping the oils and it's not going to leave your skin feeling really dry," says Pike. "At the same time, it leaves your skin feeling really clean because of how it gets into pores."
Personally, my Face Halo has helped me almost banish my issue with blackheads and skin congestion. Pike reveals it also helps with acne and pimples.
"If you're prone to these conditions and you're not cleaning your skin properly, you leave bacteria on your face and your condition will flare up. But the Face Halo helps you remove all that bacteria that cause pimples."
But also, you don't have to rub and stretch your skin to get your makeup off. There's no need to rub off half your eyelashes to remove mascara and you don't have to tug and pull your skin (which causes wrinkles) to get your foundation off.
Pike puts it best: "Water is the soluble (what breaks down makeup) so make sure you have lots of water to loosen the makeup and then you can just gently wipe away."
