Ever Wondered What The Simpsons Floor Plan Looks Like?

The world is intimately familiar with the family from 742 Evergreen Terrace, Springfield, USA - but how well do you know the layout of the house?

Few homes have seen as much activity as that of the Simpson family. Sure, it’s just a typical three child, four fingered family, but when your house patriarch is a bloke called Homer, you need to be able to accommodate everything from bootlegging enterprises to alien invasions on a nightly basis. In this respect, the Simpson home is a trooper of incredible patience and strength, able to fight the most unlikely of battles at a moment’s notice.

Never the handy man, Homer’s attempts at fixing the ever growing list of repair jobs on the property tend to do more damage than good, too. Get him on the roof and he will likely fall off (or fall through), and even the simple act of fixing a toaster can have a dramatic impact on the space-time continuum. But we love this dilapidated rundown abode all the same.

This is why we’ve fallen in love with the work of Spanish interior designer Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde, who is obviously a big fan of the show as well. In fact, he has painstakingly recreated the floor plan for the Simpson’s home, which you can check out below. Ahhh, so many memories. It’s familiar as your favourite pair of shoes, isn’t it?
