Last minute and 2019 travel dates available with Etihad Airways.

Luxury carrier Etihad Airways is one of the best airlines in the world, so understandably, we get a bit excited when we see sale fares in the low $1,000s.

You can start planning that European getaway you've always wanted or throw caution to the wind and hop on a last-minute jaunt to somewhere new.

The lowest fares are for travel from Perth to Abu Dhabi for $1,004 return.

For less than $1,100 you can also fly from Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane to Abu Dhabi or the lucky ducks in Perth can get to Dublin, Madrid or Spain.

Other cheap fares include Melbourne to Dublin from $1,162, Sydney to Athens for $1,210 and Brisbane to Paris for $1,325.

Travel is for select dates between 18 March to 31 March, 21 April to 31 May, 1 October to 30 November and 13 January 2019 to 31 January 2019.

All flights include complimentary on-board entertainment, in-flight meals and checked bags.

To book, visit Etihad online now or check out the full list of routes and travel dates below.

You better hurry though, you have until 20 March to secure your trip.

How good are these fares?

Travel dates are more restrictive than we’d like and do not include peak summer dates but fares are cheaper than we’ve seen with Etihad for a while.

A previous sale saw flights from Perth to Paris for $11 more and another sale had Perth to Dublin flights for $103 more. For the rest of the routes, you’re more than likely than not to be getting a good deal even if it’s just a few dollars cheaper.
