Which is cheaper?

We made identical search bookings with Europcar and Enterprise via their official sites, choosing the same pick-up location, dates, times and driver's age.

To determine which was cheaper we looked at the absolute cheapest vehicle each could provide for our search. Prices were retrieved on 25 June 2018.

The verdict?

Enterprise scrapes in as the cheaper option with a hire $5 less than Europcar.



What are the deals like?

Europcar has a local website that features deals for domestic locations, select vehicle times, dates and early bookings.

Enterprise's deals are more location-specific and heavily based around discounts. For example 15% off Sunshine Coast rentals.

When weighing up their differences it might be even-stevens but looking at the quality of its features, Enterprise wins this round. It offered a cheaper rental in our search comparison, has cheaper excess, picks you up at select non-airport locations and lets you tack on an additional driver for free.
