Ethernity Chain is a platform focused on the production and distribution of limited edition authenticated non-fungible tokens (NFTs). NFTs are digital tokens that represent a collectible. Collectibles can range from digital art and music to physical objects such as trading cards. The authenticated NFTs on Ethernity Chain are better known as aNFTs. According to the Ethernity Chain website, all aNFTs are authenticated by intellectual property holders of the collectible. Ethernity Chain believes authentication is crucial to ensure all NFT collectibles are genuine. When an artist produces a digital asset or artwork, the work then gets authenticated by an icon and becomes an aNFT. Buyers can then purchase limited editions of aNFTs via auctions or direct sales. The platform also focuses on collaborating with artists to contribute to charitable causes where possible. ERN is the Ethernity platform’s utility token. Token holders are eligible to bid on and purchase aNFTs, stake their tokens in the Ethernity platform, farm for rewards and participate in virtual and real-world events. All aNFTs on the Ethernity platform are priced in ERN. For every transaction, a portion of the money goes to charities and ERN holders. 75% of all tokens are kept in a recycled reserve for 2 years.
