- Are you flexible with your dates? Usually the deepest discounts aren't available for those perfectly timed weekend escapes or school holiday breaks. If you can be flexible with your departure dates, then you may be able to score a better deal.
- Are you picky about where you stay or which airline you fly? If you're the kind of person that's just happy to get from point A to point B in one piece, then great news. If you don't mind a connecting flight, or a hotel that may not be smack in the centre of a city, you may just save a few extra dollars.
- Does the retailer price match? If you're finding your preferred hotel or flight through one online travel agent, but usually like booking with another, you may not be out of luck. Plenty of OTAs these days offer a price match system.
