The EOFY shopping season isn't supposed to kick off until 30 June, but most online retailers are jumping the gun early. In other words, there's no need to wait until the end of the month if you're keen to grab an online bargain.

Big stores offering EOFY deals right now include Amazon, Catch, eBay, Kogan, The Good Guys and David Jones.

Traditionally, laptops are one of the most heavily discounted items during EOFY sales as retailers and manufacturers look to offload last year's models. HP is leading the charge in 2022 with a massive 45% off select laptops, monitors, printers and gaming PCs.

Handily, there's a section for laptops under $1,000, so you can find an excellent model to match your budget. You can also score an extra 50% off selected monitors with any PC purchase.

Here are a few deals that caught our eye.

    • $600 off HP Pavilion Laptop 15: $899. This all purpose laptop comes with an 11th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 256GB SSD for storage. Normally retailing for $1,499, it's now down to just $899.
    • $900 off HP ENVY Laptop 15: $2,699. If you need something with a bit more grunt beneath the hood, this 15-inch HP ENVY laptop delivers the goods. Equipped with an 11th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card and 16GB DDR4 RAM, it will be able to handle the most graphically demanding games and applications.     • $690 off Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 16-d0246TX: $1,609. This gaming focused Victus laptop packs in similar specs as the HP Envy mentioned above, including a powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. Originally retailing for $2,299, it's now down to $1,609. That works out to 30% off the RRP.
    • $20 cashback on HP DeskJet All-in-One Printer: $45. Get the HP DeskJet 2722e All-in-One Printer for just $45 when you purchase from HP direct. The unit includes print, copy and scan functions, has a print speed up to 7.5 pages per minute and comes with enough ink to last up to 6 months. Perfect for school and occasional work documents.

Amazon – 50% off gaming, tech and homewares

Amazon is running a brace of EOFY sales including a Midyear Sale (which just wrapped up) and Amazon Prime Day which is set to kick off in July. This week-long shopping event promises to be one of the best sales of the year, with up to 70% off big ticket items like tech and home appliances.

To get the full discount, you will need to sign up to Amazon Prime membership. This will set you back $6.99 per month but you can grab a free 30-day trial at the aforementioned link.
