We've found the five best EOFY 2021 sales you can shop right now - including 50% off 8K TVs at The Good Guys.

The EOFY shopping season officially starts on June 30 - but that hasn't stopped a bunch of online retailers jumping the gun early. Participating stores include Amazon, Catch, Bing Lee, eBay, Kogan, The Good Guys and heaps more.

Below you will find links to five of the hottest sales so far covering tech, fashion, books, games, TVs and more. We also highlight some of the best offers from each sale, including a whopping 50% off 75-inch TCL 8K TVs and Premium Hot Wheels cars for $2. Read on to nab yourself a bargain!

Amazon Prime Day

The phenomenally popular Amazon Prime Day is an end-of-financial-year sale in all but name. Typically taking place in the second half of June, the two-day shopping event provides some of the biggest discounts you are likely to see all year long. (The only comparable online sale is Black Friday in November.) To be eligible for the deals below, you need to be an Amazon Prime customer which costs $6.99 per month. However, you can shop the sale without paying anything extra by signing up for a free 30-day trial.

Amazon Prime Day officially kicks off on Monday 21 June, but here a few early-bird offers you can get right now.

  • $100 off Echo Studio smart speakers: Get the Amazon Echo Studio for $279. That's a saving of $100. The unit features five speakers for excellent music playback. The inbuilt Alexa assistant can be used to read the news, answer questions and control Zigbee-compatible smart home devices.
  • Half-price Amazon Echo Auto: The Amazon Echo Auto connects to the Alexa app on your phone and plays through your car's speakers via auxiliary input or your smartphone's Bluetooth connection. Get it during Prime Day for $39 instead of the usually RRP of $79.
  • $50 off Instant Vortex Mini Air Fryers: The Instant Vortex Mini Air Fryer is currently selling for $99 - a saving of 36% on the normal asking price of $150. It comes with 4 pre-set Smart Cooking Programs, allowing you to quickly air fry, bake, roast and reheat a wide variety of foods.
  • 50% off bestselling books: There's a huge range of books to choose from including new-releases and bestsellers. Prices start at just $4. You can also score 7 popular audiobooks for free during the Prime Day sales period.
  • Free 2 month Audible memberships: To coincide with Prime Day, Amazon has extended its Audible trial to three months. This is a limited time special offer. The audio books are yours to keep even after you cancel.

Big W - mid-year clearance deals

Big W is offering some big discounts on a wide range of popular products via its official eBay store. Available brands include Dyson and a stack of toy manufacturers. If you like to get your Christmas shopping sorted early, this sale is definitely worth a look. Here are a few deals that caught our eye.

  • Half-price Hot Wheels cars: Get an assortment of Hot Wheels Premium vehicles for just $2.00 each. (Perfect for stocking stuffing.)
  • $200 off Dyson V7 Origin: Dyson arguably makes the best stick vacuum cleaners on the market - but they are also prohibitively expensive. Big W has the V7 Origin model down to $399 right now - a saving of 33% on the RRP.
  • Cheap Circuit Table Tennis Tables: This full size tennis table is constructed from FSC-certified tabletop board which can be folded in half for easy storage. Big W is selling it for just $129.

The Good Guys EOFY clearance

The Good Guys has added a raft of fresh deals to its Clearance page to help ring in the new financial ring. You can score big discounts across all major product categories including TVs, cameras, fridges, heating, laptops, phones and home appliances. Noteworthy deals include the following.

  • 50% off TCL 8K QLED TVs: TLC's enormous 75-inch 8K UHD Android QLED TV has been slashed by 50%. Get it for $1995 - down from $3990.
  • 25% off Microsoft Surface laptops: Available models include Surface Pro 7, Surface Pro X, Surface Laptop Go and Surface Book 3. Prices start at just $748.
  • 40% off LG NANO86 4K UHD TVs: The 55-inch LG NANO86 4K UHD TV is selling at The Good Guys for $1274. The same model currently costs $2159 on LG's website. Stock is running out though, so you will need to act fast.
  • Heating clearance: The Good Guys has slashed the price on heating across all its big brands. Available brands include Dyson, Delonghi, Sunbeam, Noirot and Rinnai with prices starting at under $50.
