Rolling hills, yawning lakes and enigmatic fjords, New Zealand is unparalleled when it comes to scenery and if you're seeking a luxurious getaway with all the trimmings to our neighbouring country, Emirates has the deal to get you there.

The 4-star, all-inclusive airline has discounted its flights from Sydney or Melbourne to New Zealand's major hubs, Christchurch and Auckland. The lowest fare is $219 which will get you from Sydney to Christchurch. Return fares start at $400 flying Qantas back.

While not the cheapest fares around when compared with budget airlines like Jetstar that have $139 return flights between Melbourne and Auckland at the moment. When you add up the extras like baggage, in-flight entertainment and meals, and potential Emirates miles, it could be worth your while.

Flights in this Emirates deal are for travel between 12-20 June, 18 July to 12 September and 11 October to 13 December, which means you won't be able to fly during the school holidays at these discounted rates, but you will be able to fly during less touristic periods, which is a bonus of anyone who'd prefer not to travel with the crowds.

You can search for and book your tickets on the Emirates website.
