Elitium is a FinTech company and blockchain-based service built in 2017 that focuses on bringing high-end products into the world of cryptocurrency. Elitium allows its customers to browse and purchase goods and services from a number of compatible apps using its native token, EUM. They even offer a crypto debit card that is compatible with over 46 million luxury stores. The Elitium network aims to revolutionise the luxury purchasing industry by completely abolishing most transactional fees and offering cashbacks (up to 1%) and staking solutions for token-holders. As with many other cryptocurrencies, the control of funds is left entirely with the consumer – no third-party is able to access EUM tokens, unlike the way a bank can access their accounts. Elitium has also expanded their services to include crypto-based investments, including gold tokens (backed by the physical asset), NFTs and other decentralised finance functions. EUM is the ERC-20 token native to the Elitium network and has a number of economic use cases on the platform. EUM can be spent in any store that accepts Visa.
