Welcome September as well as these top-notch products we discovered and reviewed.

I'm going to be honest here, I remember writing my monthly favourites for February and I swear that was last month. Somehow, my calendar just flipped over from September, and I just have to accept it? I'm struggling with that.

But regardless of my panic that this year is simply moving way too quickly and that the months are approximately two hours long, we still had time to shop. There are some classic favourites and some new discoveries that you just have to get your hands on. We've covered all your beauty and fashion needs with some real staples that will get you through spring and summer.

Monthly Favourites:

1. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb

Where to buy: Sephora

Okay, I'm aware that I'm late to this product, but after trying it last month, I simply had to put it at number one in my monthly favourites.

This lip gloss is the best lip gloss I've ever tried in my entire life. I understand the cliché of that sentence, but I've never meant something more in my entire life. It's light on the lips, is the perfect nude and lasts for such a long time. Some lip glosses can leave a gross residue on your lips, but this gloss simply wears throughout the day and genuinely feels more like a lip balm.

2. Missguided Band Tee

Where to buy: Missguided

I love a good band tee. You can wear them out to a party, casually throughout the day and even to bed if you're feeling a little lazy (guilty – tell me I'm not the only one).

This Missguided T-shirt is a printed Purple Rain cover of Prince's album and is my favourite item of clothing in my wardrobe at the moment. It is ridiculously affordable, and on top of that, just plain cool. The cut is also super flattering, but if you prefer your shirts a bit baggy, then I would size up a little.

3. Ardell baby demi lashes

Where to buy: Priceline

These are the perfect everyday lash. Ardell lashes are my favourite for a reason. They're super easy to apply and the glue is the stuff of greatness. On top of that, they're comfortable and really don't budge throughout the day.

However, false lashes can be a little much to wear on a day-to-day basis, until I discovered the Baby Demi Wispies. They look like you've got the most beautiful, natural lashes without being too overbearing and really only take me five minutes to put on in the morning.

4. Billini Yellow Heels

Where to buy: Billini

Mules were very much the shoe of the season. This spring/summer, it's less about the shoe and more about the colour.

Big bright and beautiful shoes are all the rage at the moment, especially yellow shoes! They add a gorgeous pop of colour to any outfit and these Billini shoes went straight in my cart as soon as I saw them. The heel is the perfect height so my feet don't get sore and the delicate strapping makes them work for both day and night.

5. Peter Alexander Snow White pyjamas

Where to buy: Peter Alexander

I physically cannot say no to Peter Alexander pyjamas. They're my guilty pleasure. However, you mix Peter Alexander pyjamas with Disney and you've got a sale, my friend.

This Snow White nightie is not only adorable but gave me one of my best nights of sleep. It's super breezy and lightweight, which makes it a great option for summer. If T-shirt dresses aren't really your thing though, there is an entire range of Disney-themed pyjamas you can get your hands on.

6. Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Foam

Where to buy: Priceline

The newest addition to the Bondi Sands line up actually made it as one of our Beauty Products of the Week from September.

The Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Foam is honestly a game changer, and I quickly ended up making my way through it due to how much I was using it. I'm one of those girls that have a number of fake tans in their cupboard and kind of rotate between them. The Liquid Gold Foam completely changed that.

I love to use it on its own for a subtle glow and then I reapply or put it on top of another tan to increase the colour and keep longevity.

7. Frank Body Anti Collection

Where to buy: Frank Body

The Frank Body Anti collection is such a good range of products that my entire skincare regime changed because of them.

The mist, mask and oil are all such outstanding products that I simply couldn't pick one to include in our monthly favourites. The mask is great for just getting in a bubble bath and detoxing your entire life away. The mist is a refresher so you look and feel like you got eight hours sleep. The oil is just a godsend for a dry skin, heavy makeup wearer like myself. No ounce of makeup is left on my face and my skin is left with a radiant and hydrated glow.

8. Princess Polly Khaki skirt

Where to buy: Princess Polly

This Khaki skirt from Princess Polly is easily one of my favourite purchases of the entire month. It has become a complete wardrobe staple. It is such a cute flowy piece that you really can pair with anything.

It works with sneakers, heels and boots and the shade is more along the lines of a sage green than a khaki green, making it more of a unique piece.

9. Carmex Watermelon Moisturising Lip Balm

Where to buy:

The newest lip balm to join the Carmex range is this watermelon balm. I'm not actually a huge user of lip balm, but I honestly have a full-blown addiction to this product.

You really don't need to apply a lot to get the most out of this product, and it leaves your lips moisturised for an extended period. On top of that, the watermelon scent is an absolute dream, especially when heading into summer. When you apply it, you get an amazing tingling sensation that you start to look forward to. The tingle is caused by camphor and menthol which gives a cooling sensation and relieves cracked lips.
