Editors’ favourite products from February 2019

February flew by in record time and here's what we were loving.

Ah, February. The month of Valentine's Day and for me, a whole lot of shopping. From fashion to beauty and a few other necessities the last month served us some pretty good finds that we simply have to share.

The month also had us saying farewell to summer and thinking about our future winter wardrobe. Yes, it could be a little early but you can never be too prepared right?

Keep scrolling to check out our monthly favourites from February.

Monthly Favourites:

1. Ardell Remy Lashes

Where to buy: Priceline

The last week of February saw the launch of the new Ardell Remy Lashes and these are our number one from the month for a reason. I'm already a huge fan of Ardell lashes and the demi-wispies are easily my go-to style.

Now the brand is stepping up in quality but not in price with the launch of the Remy lash. These bad boys are made with premium quality hair but without the hefty price tag. They're also just as easy to apply as the original lash styles so there is absolutely no reason not to give them a go (warning: you will probably fall in love).

2. Snake print silk skirt

Where to buy: Dissh

It's no secret that animal print has been one of the biggest trends this season. Snake print has definitely been one that I've fallen in love with. Therefore, when I came across this mini snake print slip skirt I fell head over heels.

There is a multitude of snake print midi skirts on the market but I really had my heart set on finding a mini (and it was harder than it sounds.) However, the One Fine Day skirt from Dissh is exactly what I was after. It's a gorgeous material, has a zip closure and is completely true to size.

3. Marc Jacobs Lip Liner

Where to buy: Sephora

I absolutely love lip liner. If it was ever a choice between actual lipstick and a lip liner then honestly, it's lip liner all the way. I have a few top brands already but the Marc Jacobs lip liner has easily become one of my favourites.

It has a twist up mechanism meaning that I don't have to bother sharpening the tip and wasting product. The formula itself is super creamy and the pigment game is seriously strong. If you ever wanted to invest in a single lip liner then I'd have to suggest the Marc Jacobs one.

4. Black fur jacket

Where to buy: Glassons

Okay, so I know that Summer literally just ended but as soon as autumn hits I'm thinking about my winter wardrobe and its needs. Last year was all about the teddy coat but this year we expect a whole lot of faux fur. Emphasis on the faux, please.

Then this black fur jacket landed on the Glassons site and it was a need not a want. It's a little longer and thick as hell making it perfect for the cooler months and you can dress it up with a mini dress or dress it down with a pair of jeans for a stylish look.

5. Black ankle boots

Where to buy: PrettyLittleThing

Every girl needs a staple pair of black ankle boots in her wardrobe. Unfortunately, my previous pair had seen better days. I'd had those boots for five years and I'm afraid their watch had ended.

But finding a pair exactly like them was no simple task. I didn't want a pair of sock boots, I wanted high ankle boots I could wear over jeans but would still look good with a dress and didn't have a ridiculously high heel. I know, it's like searching for the holy grail.

Even though I was prepared to pay a pretty penny for the perfect pair, I ended up settling on these black ankle boots from PrettyLittleThing. They were precisely what I was after, ticked all my boxes and were super affordable!

6. Fenty Beauty concealer

Where to buy: Sephora

In case you missed our full Fenty Beauty concealer review then let me summarise. This is my new favourite concealer. I was a big fan of the Tarte Shape Tape but definitely wanted something a little lighter and didn't want to sacrifice coverage.

Safe to say the Fenty Beauty concealer has one of the nicest formulas I've tried in a very long time. It's in between too thick and too thin to create the perfect consistency that everyone has to try at least once!

7. Reptile Eclat Melodrama Chain Bag Black

Where to buy: Beginning Boutique

I've been in the market for a good night out bag for a while. I needed one that wasn't too big that it was a pain to carry around and one that wasn't too small so I could actually fit my stuff in it. On top of all that I wanted something that was versatile, trendy and matched with most of my wardrobe.

So when I came across this black reptiled leather bag I immediately fell in love. It fits everything you could possibly need for a night out and the gold chain strap gives it that extra little flare. It's also 30% off from Beginning Boutique so I could really justify the purchase.

8. Mini hoop earings

Where to buy:

Dainty jewellery is one of the most popular accessories out at the moment. However, I'm not someone who enjoys big statement earrings for everyday wear. That's why these mini hoop earrings were a huge mood for me. I do get pretty sensitive ears but these were completely fine. It came as a bit of a surprise given how affordable they are but ended up as a big tick.

They're perfect for those with more than their firsts pierced but also means you can mix it up if you don't have multiple piercings. They also come in both gold and silver for whatever your taste is.

9. Lioness mom jeans

Where to buy: Princess Polly

When Princess Polly has a 25% off sale I simply have to get something. It's a personal rule for me. In all that shopping I managed to pick up this pair of Lioness mom jeans.

Mom jeans are always a risk when shopping online. You need the perfect waist to hip to thigh ratio so that they're actually flattering. So buying these online was risky business. Thankfully I can confirm that the cut and fit of these jeans is absolutely insane. They hug in the right areas and are loose where it matters. Plus you can currently get 20% off at Princess Polly.
