See all the $20 deals eBay is dropping for its 20th birthday sale
Nab yourself an insane deal on products from Bose, Google, Nespresso and more.
We all know that birthdays are more fun when they're shared, but online marketplace eBay is feeling particularly generous with its celebrations this year. To kick off its 20th birthday, the site is about to start slashing prices on top name products to just $20. And no, we're not talking small items here.
Take the Bose SoundSport Free wireless headphones, for instance. The popular in-ear buds usually retail for $275, meaning that eBay's deal will see you save a whopping $255. The Google Home Hub is also up for grabs, slicing a huge $164.08 off the normal cost price.
The deals don't end there either. From Harry Potter Lego to Oral-B toothbrushes, eBay will drop a different product hourly from 9am until 6pm for today only (Monday 2 September). The only thing you have to do in order to be eligible to shop the mega deals is to sign up for an eBay Plus membership (if you haven't done so already).
A Plus membership will cost you $49 for a whole year and includes a 30-day trial period, which serves as the perfect opportunity to get your hands on these bargains while trying out the service. Membership will also get you free shipping and returns on millions of eligible items, along with bonus Flybuys points and free delivery on Coles on eBay orders over $49, giving you a pretty good incentive to sign up.
If all of that isn't enough, eBay has also started regularly dropping killer member-only deals including a recent sale that saw AirPods go for just $99 a pair.
If we learnt anything from that sale event, it's that you're going to have to be super quick because these deals won't stick around for long. But hey, it's eBay's party and they'll give out ridiculously cheap deals if they want to.

eBay's Head of Communications at eBay Australia & New Zealand Sophie Onikul has remarked that the company has come a long way over the past twenty years, "evolving from an auction house to Australia's number one online shopping destination."
Speaking about the birthday celebrations, she said, "We're excited to celebrate this milestone by offering never-before-seen savings on the latest must-have products. It might be our birthday, but it's eBay shoppers that get the presents! Make sure you sign up to eBay Plus ahead of time and get in quick. At just $20, we can't guarantee these deals will last."
