Earn up to 25x bonus flybuys points with Etihad
Collect up to 25x flybuys points on flights to London, Dublin and New York and up to 20x bonus points on other flights.
If you have your eye on a holiday in 2017, flybuys and Etihad Airways' latest bonus points offer could give you more reason to book your flights before the end of this month.
If you book an Etihad flight to London, Dublin or New York before 27 January 2017, you’ll earn 25 bonus flybuys points per dollar spent. You can also earn 20 bonus flybuys for every dollar on all other Etihad flights. To collect the points, you must book your tickets through the flybuys website for travel between 1 February 2017 and 10 December 2017.
This bonus flybuys points deal coincides with some pretty competitive return flights deals as well. For example, you could fly return Economy from Melbourne to London for $1,345, to Dublin for $1,164, to New York for $1,631 and Rome for $1,348. Visit the flybuys website to compare the full range of flight deals on offer.
Since flybuys and Etihad formed an alliance in 2015, flybuys members can usually earn 1 point per $1 spent on Etihad Airways flights, so the latest offer is a big increase. If you were to travel from Melbourne to London at a cost of $1,345 while the current promotion is in place, you could earn 33,625 flybuys points. This number of points could get you a Fitbit Flex 2 (RRP $149.95 or 28,800 points), a Diva Professional Styling Iron (RRP $118.98 or 22,585 points) or $150 worth of Coles, Kmart or Target vouchers (10,000 points for a $50 voucher). If you’d prefer to turn your flybuys into flights, you’d be just short of redeeming a return Economy flight from Sydney to Melbourne (valued at around $178.00 or 35,600 points).
Plus, if you link your flybuys and Etihad Guest accounts, you can earn Etihad Tier Miles on the ground when you shop at online and in-store Coles, Coles Express, Liquorland and First Choice Liquor. If you haven’t already, you can link your flybuys and Etihad Guest memberships through your online flybuys account.
