Beauty product of the week: Eaoron Hyaluronic Cleanser

Do you want glass skin? Then this is the cleanser for you.
Why we love this product
This cleanser is a recent discovery of mine. I don't normally use cleansers with too many active ingredients. I typically prefer something gentle that just removes dirt and makeup. But in the instances that I am looking for a high-performance cleanser, this is the one I'll be coming back to.
Eaoron is a brand whose mission is to harness the power of hyaluronic acid at an affordable price point. Some brands can charge hundreds of dollars for hyaluronic acid serums and creams, but looking across the portfolio of Eaoron products, you're hard-pressed to find anything over $50. We've previously reviewed the brand's sheet masks, which are a steal at less than $30 for a pack of 5.
Hyaluronic acid is one of the secrets behind "glass skin" or "dumpling skin", beauty trends where your skin is so plump and smooth that it looks like glass. Hyaluronic acid is a compound that sinks deeply (depending on the type of hyaluronic acid) into the skin and draws in a thousand times its weight in water. As a result it plumps, hydrates, smoothes and evens out your complexion.
Like many other cleansers, the Eaoron Hyaluronic Cleanser foams and removes makeup and dirt from your skin. In fact, it does this piece a lot more effectively than some other cleansers I've tried and doesn't leave any residue behind. But what makes this cleanser different is the use of hyaluronic acid and amino acids.

When applied topically, amino acids (among other benefits) help to move moisture through the skin. This high-powered ingredient works in tandem with the hyaluronic acid to hydrate intensely and very deeply. So this cleanser is like a shot of water directly into the top and bottom layers of your skin. There are also a few other added botanicals like lavender oil to help soothe and nourish.
After just one use of this cleanser, my skin was visibly plumper, brighter and smoother, a lot like "glass skin". My skin is always lacking in water, I've had it tested a few times. So it was amazing to see how good my complexion can look when it receives that extra boost of hydration.
If you have blemish-prone skin, you might have to add a glycolic or lactic acid into your skincare routine somewhere to see the full smoothing effect of this product. This cleanser doesn't really have the ingredients to eliminate spots, it's more about adding as much water into the skin as possible.
I'd recommend this for all skin types from young to old and dry to oily. But if you have very sensitive skin, perhaps try this on a patch first.
Affordability
At $24.95, I'd consider this product a steal. It works better than cleansers I've tried that cost three times the price.
Where you can get it
For us Australians, Eaoron products are most readily available at Chemist Warehouse.
