Every game at EA Play 2018
EA Play finally showed us some more of Anthem, gave us a little tease of Respawn's Jedi Fallen Order and revealed a unique title with Sea of Solitude.
While E3 2018 technically started a couple of days ago, the EA Play event in Hollywood marks the first of many big-name publishers to follow. After a rough year with huge controversies surrounding microtransactions and Battlefront II, all eye were on EA to make good.
Not only did EA reveal the Clone Wars would finally be added to Battlefront II, beginning with the addition of General Grievous and General Kenobi but it also (finally) showed off some more of Bioware's Anthem. This year, we got a closer look at the game's power suit – the Javelin – and the customisation options available.
There was the usual sports fare from EA with FIFA, Madden and NBA Live making an appearance, a surprise mobile reboot of Command and Conquer but the reveal of the show was surely Sea of Solitude, a more personal journey about loneliness and how it can transform somebody into a monster. We're really looking forward to seeing more from developer Jo-Mei Games.
