Meet Dyson's most powerful and technologically advanced cord-free vacuum yet.

Dyson has cemented itself as a leader in technological advancement. From its creation of the high-powered digital V2 motor which enabled its vacuums to go cordless, to its launch of the Dyson Airwrap tool which saw the power of air harnessed to style hair without damaging it, Dyson has proven itself very much ahead of the curve. Now, the company has today announced its next product, the Dyson V11 vacuum.

After only releasing the Cyclone V10 model in March of last year, the company has been quick to churn out the next iteration. Already having done away with vacuum bags and cords, it's easy to ask what more the company could possibly do at this stage. In answer to this question, Dyson has unveiled the digital V11 motor.

The motor

Similar to the V10's motor, the V11 offers an incredible 125,000 revolutions per minute, but the new model also contains a triple diffuser to reduce turbulence and noise, which will be a welcome addition for those with young children. On top of that, it also delivers 20% more suction power than the V10, helping to optimise power to the cleaner head.

Surface sensing

The launch of the V11 sees the multiple heads of the V10 model combined into one smart motorhead. With the ability to sense different surfaces, the new High Torque cleaner head detects brush bar resistance up to 360 times a second and communicates changes with the motor and battery microprocessors. The result is the automatic changing of suction power between carpets and hard flooring, saving you from having to switch cleaner heads when vacuuming between different surfaces.

Additional features

The V11 design offers new intelligence in the form of an LCD screen on the top of the vacuum. When selecting from one of three battery modes, a display setting will appear to show you exactly how much battery life you have left, right down to the seconds. The new display will also give you a reminder when it's time to wash the filter and will alert you to airway blockages. Taking things a step further, the new digital screen will even offer you a demonstration of how to fix an airway blockage, by showing you a demo of how to pull the vacuum apart to find the source of the problem.

The Dyson V11 also comes with a whole machine filtration system complete with rubber seals, ensuring that even microscopic particles are captured and kept in the bin. The stick vacuum also comes with a wand clip, allowing you to store accessories such as the crevice tool and combination tool on the vacuum itself, rather than lugging them back and forth. The end result is an intelligent device that has been designed to be as completely efficient and time-saving as possible.
