Founded by the owners of Quay Australia, Dream Bandits is a ready-to-wear lingerie brand that belongs in your wardrobe.

A new Australian fashion brand has just hit the market and it's called Dream Bandits. The creators behind the brand just so happen to be the founders of Quay Australia, Linda and Zak Hammond. The ready-to-wear lingerie brand focuses on nailing colour choices, picking luxe fabrics and designing flattering cuts and silhouettes.

Dream Bandits is here to merchandise lingerie as apparel. The idea is to wear a colourful, lace bodysuit with figure-hugging jeans. Or maybe, a jersey bodysuit paired with a patterned skirt. Lingerie is no longer just for the bedroom, and it's a ready-to-wear clothing piece that can flatter all body types, shapes and sizes.

The global brand director of Dream Bandits, Thu Nguyen said in an interview with Inside Retail Weekly: "We're all about not following global fashion trends, but being a trendsetter. We are disrupting the apparel category that hasn't been tapped into, which is body wear and 'lingerie to be seen'. It's blurring the lines between lingerie and apparel."

Why are we so impressed by the brand? Dream Bandits makes you aware of the environment and being ethically responsible. While the products are made in offshore facilities, they are all ethical supply partners. Each design is created in Melbourne. The packaging used in all orders is kept to a minimum and no excess tissue paper is used to fill out the box. Everything is placed in an eco-friendly bag and we appreciate the responsibility taken by the Australian brand.

For Australian customers, you can purchase Dream Bandits direct from the website. If you are living in the US, UK or Europe, the fashion brand is starting to reach out to wholesalers. But in the next four years, the team behind the brand is planning to possibly launch a few stores in Australia.
