When you can shop the Dr. Martens x UNDERCOVER 1461 collaboration
Add some edge to your workwear with this latest collaboration between Dr. Martens and popular Japanese streetwear brand UNDERCOVER.
If you're a fan of Dr. Martens' unique, punky style but can't quite get away with wearing a pair to work, then we've got the collaboration for you. The brand has just unveiled a new line with long time collaborative partner UNDERCOVER which manages to be both completely work-appropriate and stylish as hell.
Taking on the classic 1461 silhouette, two slick low shoes arrive in black and beige colourways respectively. The designs are made from patent lamper leather and feature black lacing along with the iconic yellow Dr. Martens stitching and signature sole.
Each pair also sees the arrival of debossed detailing across the upper, "WE MAKE NOISE NOT CLOTHES" text on the medial side and "Chaos" written in a calligraphy font on the toe cap.
The collaborative kicks are set to drop on the Dr. Martens site from 26 October, so you won't have to wait much longer to get your hands on a pair. If you've already started panicking about what to get your impossible-to-buy-for dad/brother/boyfriend for Christmas too, these are sure to be a winner, so make sure to pick up a pair when they land.
The collaborative 1461 line marks the most recent in a huge line of designs that Dr. Martens has released this year already. The label recently teamed up with alternative fashion brand Dolls Kill to create a line of chunky lace-up boots that gets back to Dr. Martens' core grunge roots.
Earlier this year, the brand also collaborated with quirky clothing label Lazy Oaf to release four iterations of classic Dr. Martens silhouettes. Each style was reimagined with pastel pink elements and a whole lot of hearts, making for an adorable gothic aesthetic. The line is available now from ASOS.
