Qantas is making sure you have yourself a VERY merry Christmas.

Sorry, this sale is no longer running. Check our list of current flight sales to find a bargain!

The flying kangaroo AKA Qantas is gifting us with all the presents this week with flights across our nation from $89 on departures from 17 December - 27 June 2018.

That's right, from 17 December onward. That means Christmas is most definitely on the cards.

Now, the fine print. Only certain, predominately regional, routes include Christmas dates and you'll have to play around with those dates to get the lowest fares out of them. They're not the lowest in the sale either, starting from $20 more each leg, but are still a bargain considering they're for the peak holiday season.

For example, Sydney to Dubbo is on sale for $109 each way in this sale. Fly over Christmas and your cheapest flights are for $129 each way, or $258 return. For this you can fly out on Friday 22 December in the afternoon and return on 26 December in the afternoon and not even have to take a day off work.

Other routes on sale over Christmas in this sale are Brisbane to Longreach, Sydney to Albany and Sydney to Wagga Wagga.

For all other dates, one way flights start from $89 for Melbourne to Launceston, Brisbane to Rockhampton, Brisbane to Newcastle and Brisbane to Bundaberg.

From Sydney, the price point starts from $99. This takes you to some of the eastern coast's sunniest spots of Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie as well as Tamworth.

Flights can be booked through Flight Centre and are on sale until midnight 26 October 2017.
