What’s in the Disney x adidas Originals Goofy collection?
The loveable character has made his way onto adidas models 3MC and Nizza.
Earlier this year, the iconic and loveable Disney character Goofy made his way onto a pair of adidas UltraBOOST. At the time, we didn't know it was going to be part of a full Goofy-inspired collection. The other styles have just been announced and if you're a Disney fan, you need to get your hands on these sneakers.
The four-piece collection features the 3MC and Nizza models. The overarching theme (besides Disney of course) is sports. Each of the silhouettes features a unique print of Goofy participating in some kind of athletic activity.
They've all got their own bright and vivid colourway and we're having some trouble deciding on our favourite.
First up is a pair of bright red 3MCs, with red laces and a white ankle tab. Goofy appears in full-colour, holding a baseball bat. The 3MCs also arrive in a white slip-on version that's perfect for summer. The sneaker sports an outlined graphic of Goofy trying his hand at surfing.
If you're after something more durable, the black leather Nizza is your best bet. It's covered in a white outlined surfing graphic, whereas the final piece of the Goofy collection (the white Nizza) showcases the same colourful baseball-themed print.
All of the sneaker styles incorporate the co-branded graphics on the tongue and insole, as well as a thick rubber midsole for some needed traction.
Release details
When can you get your hands on it? The Disney x adidas Originals Goofy collection will launch on 1 July. At this stage, we're not sure whether it's a US-specific date, so Aussie sneakerheads, keep your eyes peeled!
