Chinese rideshare company DiDi has been operating in Australia since 2018 with enticingly competitive prices.
Whether you're keen to try it out for the first time, need a pick-up from the airport or want to find the latest promo codes to save on your next ride, we've compiled the answers to all your questions.
DiDi is available at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport. To accommodate it there are dedicated pick-up spots to help you locate your driver. All airport pick-ups incur a rideshare access fee of $4.48, which is automatically added to your DiDi fare.
Meeting your driver depends on which terminal you've arrived in.
Passengers flying into Terminals 1, 2 or 3 should follow the "Rideshare" signs to the Rideshare Pick-up lane outside T2 between the bus stop and the short-term parking lot.
Passengers flying into Terminal 4 need to get to Level 2 inside the T4 Ground Transport Hub to be picked up.

Avalon Airport is the closest airport to Geelong and a popular airport for low-cost flights to and from Australia.
The airport has rideshare pick-up bays located to your left as you leave the terminal.
To request a driver, open the DiDi app, find your location and tap "Request".
DiDi currently has two ride options in Melbourne and rates vary depending on your chosen option.
DiDi Express is your choice for everyday rides and can accommodate up to four passengers. DiDi Max is available for riders who need a bit more space or have a group of up to six passengers.
Ride fares are made up of a base rate, distance and time rates and tolls, surcharges and fees.
Dynamic pricing (or surge pricing) can apply when there is a higher demand, during peak hour traffic or when there are fewer drivers available. You'll be notified of any increase at the time of booking before you decide to ride.
For an idea of prices, a DiDi ride from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport to Melbourne's Federation Square is $54.20 for DiDi Express or $69.50 for DiDi Max.
