Newcomer DiDi is making waves across Australia with its competitive prices. While it's true, Adelaide has yet to make it on the list of cities covered by DiDi, we're happy to be home to two other rideshare providers to help us get around the city.

How do I get started with rideshare in Adelaide?
Rideshare pick-up zones at Adelaide Airport
You can be picked up by either Uber or Ola at Adelaide Airport with a $3 airport surcharge added to your total fare.
To make it easy for you to find your driver, there is a dedicated pick-up zone.
Rideshare rates in Adelaide
There are four different Uber types available for you to select from in Adelaide.
UberX is the cheapest of all the options and usually the most available around the city while UberXL is great for groups of up to six.
For those willing to pay a premium, Uber Comfort guarantees only top-rated drivers and Uber Premier offers luxury cars.
Ola in Adelaide
Ola offers two ways to ride in Adelaide. Prime Sedan is your most economical option for everyday rides and Prime SUV covers groups of six or fewer in a roomier SUV or van.

A comparison of Uber's and Ola's cheapest ride options shows a close match. These are based on a ride from the airport and may include surcharges a standard ride would not.

For an idea of prices, an Uber ride from Adelaide Airport to Adelaide Central Market would cost approximately $19-33 depending on your chosen ride option, whereas a trip with Ola would cost from $16-27.
Do Uber or Ola cars have baby seats?
No. Uber and Ola cars in Adelaide aren't usually equipped with baby seats.
Are Uber and Ola pet-friendly?
Service animals are allowed as per accessibility laws. Well-behaved pets are usually accommodated but you should contact the driver through the app to confirm before starting your trip. To help make the ride go smoother, you can bring along a box or blanket for your pet to keep your driver's vehicle clean.
