If you're looking for affordable luxury, this sleek new line is for you.

Upmarket retailer David Jones has long been a favourite destination for Aussie shoppers thanks to its commitment to quality and luxurious style. Now, the retailer is looking to expand on this commitment with the relaunch of its David Jones Home Collection.

First introduced in 2008, the Home Collection has been completely designed, packaged and curated under the one brand name to become a label that's definitely worth a look in. Available now from the David Jones site, the collection is absolutely full of minimalist, Scandi-inspired pieces that will instantly add a touch of elegance to any home.

The comprehensive line spans a range of bed linen, tableware, glassware, napery, bakeware and home décor in a modern palette of chalky pastels and warm neutral tones. The range also sees the use of natural fibres and yarn dyed linens, capturing the current movement towards more sustainable homewares. It also features a renewed focus on the refined detailing and high quality materials that the company is best known for.

The relaunch of the David Jones Home Collection is a renewed attempt by the retailer to encourage more sales within the homeware space. In a press release, David Jones General Manager of Home, AV, Menswear and Kids, Chris Wilson said, "The relaunch of David Jones Home Collection is a product of many years of meticulous planning and design."

"Our objective for the SS19 collection has been to reintroduce the range with a versatile, timeless, unified offering, and the result of this is superbly crafted homeware that appeals to our customers' aesthetic and provides a premium solution for updating their homes."

The David Jones Home Collection will join the growing list of popular ranges by the 180 year old department store, which already includes womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and food.
