Best pieces from the David Jones A\W 2016 Fashion Launch

3 February 2016 saw the launch of Autumn Winter David Jones Fashion. The annual event introduces the styles and fashion that we will see in the coming season.

This year, the traditional neutral winter colour-palette was a mosaic with surprising pops of red and green. Over-sized shapes and draped structures were also a common theme of pieces on display.

Brands like Aurelio Costarella and Christopher Esber stuck to a monochromatic palette with streamlined, structured silhouettes. In contrast, designers Akira and Camilla showed vibrant prints with red accents made from draped silks. The juxtaposing styles created one of the more exciting fashion launches we've seen. It was fresh, whimsical and unpredictable - words we wouldn't typically associate with the knits, coats and skirts of winter fashion.

We're definitely keen to get our hands on some of the amazing pieces showcased on the catwalk that evening. Scroll through to shop some of the best piece from the David Jones Autumn Winter Fashion Launch.
