Features of the Customs Bank Visa Credit Card

The Customs Bank Visa Credit Card has a range of features to help you spend more efficiently. These include:

  • Visa payWave. This card can use payWave and PayPass terminals. This means for purchases under $100 you can tap your card against the terminal as opposed to swiping it or inserting it. This means you can use your credit card for smaller purchases and spend much less time at the register.
  • Balance transfer deal. The Customs Bank Visa Credit Card also allows you to bring across balances from existing cards and pay a lower promotional rate of interest. This will see you pay more of your balance off and less in interest when compared to your regular card. You'll need to fill out a balance transfer request form to carry this out.
  • Visa acceptance. Visa is offered at almost 30 million merchants in 250 countries across the globe. This means wherever you are your Customs Bank Visa Credit Card can be used, although using it overseas will come with additional fees.
  • Other Visa benefits. If you shop at an online store which displays the 'Verified by Visa' logo and you've applied for the program, you'll get extra security on your purchase. You also get access to Visa Entertainment which allows you to get pre-sale tickets to different concerts.
  • Accessible. The Customs Bank Visa Credit Card allows you use your card to pay bills using your internet banking or Customs' 'RediDial' telephone system. This means your account is accessible 24/7, so you can use BPAY, hear or see your recent transactions and learn about your account balance whenever you need to.
  • Up to 55 days interest free. This card, like many other low-cost cards, offers up to 55 days interest free. This means you might have plenty of time (depending on when you make a purchase in your statement cycle) to pay off your balance and avoid interest.
  • Security. The Customs Bank Visa Credit Card has a microchip embedded in it to reduce the chance of having your card details stolen. This along with using a PIN when paying decreases the possibility of having your card used for fraudulent transactions.
