How did Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10 end?

In the season finale, Larry's coffee shop Latte Larry's, which he opens with the purpose of putting Mocha Joe's out of business, burns down. The fire ends up spreading to the neighbouring shop too.

Turns out, all of Larry's quirky design choices – including the excess hand sanitiser bottles and nailed-down tables – are actually considered fire hazards. Consequently, Larry has to pay out rival Mocha Joe.

In return, Mocha Joe and Alice (Larry's former assistant) purchase the house adjacent to Larry's out of spite and throw a loud party.

Curb Your Enthusiasm season 11 preview

Fun fact: Curb Your Enthusiasm is shot without a set-in-stone script. Instead, cast members are given scene outlines and encouraged to improvise.

Additionally, creator Larry David isn't a fan of previews or spoilers, so you basically never know what to expect from a new season of the comedy series. One thing we can tell you, however, is that the main character is the same tactless and grumpy man you already know and love.

Showrunner and executive producer Jeff Schaffer, on the other hand, let slip a few things about season 11. It will be set in a post-pandemic world. That means we won't see Larry using social distancing as an excuse to stay away from everyone. He also shared that a key theme for the season will be "rules and regulation". Also, Larry will get more politically involved on a local level.

As always, Curb Your Enthusiasm welcomes a roster of celebrity guests stars, so you can get excited about seeing some familiar faces pop up in Larry's world. The list for season 11 includes Woody Harrelson, Kaley Cuoco, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, Tracey Ullman and Bill Hader.

Jon Hamm will also appear. He was supposed to play a Larry-like character in an upcoming movie, remember? If the trailer for season 11 is any indication, the project fell through. Bummer, as seeing Hamm channel Larry was a season 10 highlight.

All in all, buckle up for another 10 episodes brimming with pettiness, confrontation and overall hilarity. Just what the doctor ordered, especially with the holidays coming up!
