Quickly emerging as a top destination in Europe, especially thanks to Game of Thrones, Croatia has everything you'd want in a sunny European holiday: dozens of islands with calm, azure coves for private swims, a savoury Mediterranean seafood-inspired cuisine, and historic walled cities beckoning to be explored.
