In 1989, when the NSW Government formed the Roads and Traffic Authority, this credit union changed its name to RTA Staff Credit Union. In 2011, after the Roads and Traffic Authority became Roads & Maritime Services, the name, Transport Mutual Credit Union, came into effect.
