Transport Mutual Credit Union began operations in 1964 in the form of Main Roads Staff Credit Union with the aim of catering to the banking needs of employees of the NSW Department of Main Roads and their family members. In 1989, when the NSW Government formed the Roads and Traffic Authority, this credit union changed its name to RTA Staff Credit Union. In 2011, after the Roads and Traffic Authority became Roads & Maritime Services, the name, Transport Mutual Credit Union, came into effect. This credit union now accepts members from all walks of lives, and it offers them a wide selection of financial services and products.

The minimum credit limit of the low rate card is $2,000, and its maximum limit at the time on initial approval is $15,000. For the platinum card, the minimum and maximum credit limits are $6,000 and $30,000 respectively. Platinum cardholders can earn up to 100,000 reward points every year.

Your reward points don’t expire as long as your card is not in default and you keep using it as per its terms and conditions.

To redeem your reward points you can visit the Card Services website or call Card Services.

You and the first additional cardholder get automatic access to your reward points, and you can offer this access to other additional cardholders as well.

To report a lost or stolen card, you should call Card Services immediately.
