Sick of paying for multiple devices over public Wi-Fi? Looking for a failsafe when you’re modem eventually carks it? Connectify might be for you.

As mobile plans get cheaper and cheaper, the temptation to tether your mobile to your laptop is stronger than ever. However, as we all know turning your mobile phone into a Wi-Fi hotspot can be  a massive drain your precious battery. Often, the only other option while travelling is to pay for Wi-Fi for each device you own. Well, not any more…

What is Connectify and how does it work?

Connectify is software router for Microsoft Windows that allows you to turn your PC into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Why would you want to connect your mobile devices through your PC? There are many benefits to using your PC as a mobile hotspot.

If you happen to be staying in paid accommodation, you will often be charged per device to use the Wi-Fi connection. With Connectify, you will only have to pay for one device, your PC. Using Connectify, you can then share the paid WI-Fi connection with your entire range of devices.

About Connectify

Launching in 2009, Connectify  was created to access as a wireless access point to enable users to share files, connect to wireless printers, and share internet connections across multiple devices without the need of a physical router. In 2011, Connectify began offering a paid version of their software, which offered extra features at a premium price.
