Why you need the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Dunk sneaker collaboration
Find out when and where you can shop the latest sneaker capsule featuring a high-fashion label – it's coming soon!Nike knows how to collaborate with big brands, especially high-fashion labels. We fell in love with the Nike x AMBUSH capsule and the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low Pine Green sneakers. But this time, there's something new in the works. The designer behind COMME des GARÇONS Rei Kawakube has re-affirmed her love for the sportswear giant with a sneaker capsule that you need to know about. A sneak peek of the latest has just dropped and we cannot contain our excitement for what's to come.
Release date: 2020 – there's no exact date or month confirmed yet so watch this space!
The latest sneaker styles are inspired by the Dunk Low silhouette, which is definitely a fan-favourite in the Nike community. The sneak peek features two different versions. Both pairs of kicks feature the same dark shade across the Swoosh, sock liner, heel and rubber sole. Instead of focusing on colour, there's a lead focus on texture, with translucent plastic uppers. At this stage, it seems like it's only going to be available in women's sizing but watch this space for more information! We're hoping the team behind Nike and COMME des GARÇONS can develop this sneaker style for the whole family.
