What’s in the ColourPop x Mulan collection?
The affordable beauty brand is about to drop another Disney-inspired collection and it might just be the rarest and most beautiful of all.
Having already released both a Disney Princess range and a Frozen 2 line, ColourPop Cosmetics has now set sights on its next Disney collection. Thanks to breaking beauty 'gram Trendmood1, we've just had a sneak peek at the new line and it features none other than our favourite Disney feminist icon, Mulan.
The collection will drop onto the ColourPop Cosmetics site from 19 March. This was originally meant to coincide with the release of the new live-action film before it was pushed back.
What's in the collection?
As with all of ColourPop's collections, the standout of the line is a 15-shade eyeshadow palette. Full of fiery red, golden and brown shades in a mix of matte and glitter options, this is definitely at the top of our to-buy list.
We'll also be seeing the arrival of a new Lux Lip Trio, which will come in gorgeous packaging complete with intricate Mulan-themed artwork.
The trio sees a Lux Creme Lipstick up for grabs in shade "Hua Mulan" (golden peach), while a Lux Gloss will come in shade "Phoenix" (clear glitter).
Our favourite from the range though has to be the Lux Liquid Lipstick, which comes in a high-gloss cherry red hue titled "Strong Chi". (Honestly, dishonour on ColourPop for not naming the shade "Mushu", but I guess you can't have everything).
Two blushes will meanwhile be available in soft matte, glitter shades "Good Luck Charm" and "Matchmaker", while a face and lip bundle by ColourPop's sister brand Forth Ray finishes off the line with a Jasmine Tea Face Milk and luxe Gold Lip Mask.
In usual ColourPop style, the whole range is super affordable with individual items ranging from US$9 - US$25. If you can't decide which pieces you love the most, you can also nab the entire collection for US$78.
While you wait for the line to drop, you can shop other recent collections from ColourPop, including the popular Sailor Moon range. Featuring eyeshadows, powder blushes and lip bundles, there's plenty to choose from in this stunning line.
