Coles vs Woolworths Car Insurance
See how the Aussie supermarket's car insurance policies compare.

You might prefer to do your grocery shopping at one over the other, but who offers the better car insurance? To make your decision easier, we've put together a list of features to see who offers the best car insurance policy for you.
What's the difference between Coles and Woolworths car insurance?
With Woolworths car insurance, you'll receive $70 per day for up to 14 days for a car hire if your car is stolen, while Coles will pay $50 per day for the same length of time. Both offer hire car after an accident as an optional benefit.
Woolworths also has a 'Drive Less Pay Less' car insurance policy tailored to part-time drivers. If you drive less than 27km a day, you can qualify for comprehensive car insurance but with a lower premium.
If you have a good driving record, then Coles might be the more suitable provider for you. They offer a no claims discount to drivers with a good insurance record and no at-fault claim. Coles also provide $400 grocery replacement cover, while Woolworths do not.
