What fee do you charge for payments made at Australia Post?

    • finder Customer Care
      JhezelynOctober 1, 2018Staff

      Hello Peter,

      Thank you for your comment.

If you pay your bill over the counter at Australia Post you may incur more or less a fee of $2.00 per payment (including GST). The cost will vary also because you may incur fees and/or charges imposed by your biller at the time of making payment, or on your next bill, for payment processing costs.

Anyway, if a fee and/or charge is applied at the time of making your payment, you will be advised of this before the payment is processed and you will have the opportunity to cancel or change the payment before it is processed.

Should you wish to have real-time answers to your questions, try our chat box on the lower right corner of our page.

As a supplementary cardholder, does he get a different card number ? Or is it equal to the primary one?

And how is the access to the mobile app? Is it separate from the primary member or information is all together ?

    • finder Customer Care
      CharisseSeptember 22, 2018Staff

      Hi Rapahael,

Thanks for reaching out to finder.

Subject to Coles’ approval, the supplementary cardholder will be provided with an additional card, a separate PIN, and other Security Codes necessary to use facilities like telephone banking and internet banking. The additional cardholder will have access to your account details and transaction history.

There is no specific information stating that the additional card will have a new or different card number so most likely, it will have the same card number. You can confirm that information by calling Coles directly.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Charisse

    Hi,

Wanting to change from Coles (no annual fee) Mastercard to a Platinum Rewards Mastercard. How do I go about this, and also what happens to the reward points which are on my card now?

    Thanks

      JeniMay 28, 2018Staff

      Hi Robert,

Thank you for getting in touch with finder.

To change your card to Coles Platinum Rewards Mastercard, you have to apply for that card and cancel the old one. Please note that flybuys points don’t expire as long as you collect or redeem them at least once a year. If you don’t earn or redeem any points on your account for a period of 12 consecutive months, then your points will automatically expire and your membership may be terminated.

As a friendly reminder, while we do not represent any company we feature on our pages, we can offer you general advice. You can contact Coles directly for further concerns and enquiry.

      I hope this helps.

      Have a great day!

      Cheers,
      Jeni

      JhezelynMay 2, 2018Staff

      Hello Roy,

      Thank you for your comment.

Most of the credit cards featured on our pages are offered to permanent residents and citizens of Australia. If you’re an international student and temporarily residing in Australia with eligible visa, you may check the credit card products listed on this page.

Please note that the credit limit is to be set by the provider and this is being assessed based on many factors. Before you send an application, make sure you are eligible. I hope this helps.

      Regards,
      Jhezelyn

With the Coles Mastercard, what is considered an “eligible purchase”? Also what is the cost for an additional card holder?

    • finder Customer Care
      JhezelynApril 6, 2018Staff

      Hello Sandra,

      Thank you for your purchase.

According to the Coles Mastercard Reward terms and conditions, an Eligible Transaction means any purchase excluding (but not limited to) Cash Advances, Balance Transfers, Special Promotions, BPAY payments, purchases of foreign currency and travellers cheques, transactions made in operating a business, payments to other Citi accounts, bank fees and charges such as interest and ATM charges, transactions made using flybuys Points and government related transactions. This in indicated in part 1 of the terms and conditions. For the additional cardholder, there’s no charge for yearly additional cardholder fee.

    Hi,

I have a 28 degrees card (with a small credit card limit) which I use when I travel internationally. I can load this with cash prior to pay for things (eg. accommodation) that may cost more than my credit card limit. Is it possible to do this with the Coles card?

Does using the card while travelling internationally attract flybuys points?

    Cheers,
    VV

      HaroldMay 5, 2017Staff

      Hi Vv,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

Typically you can earn flybuy points through eligible transactions that exclude cash advances, credit fees or charges, credits, refunds, reimbursements, business purchases or balance transfers into your account.

I hope this information has helped.

      Cheers,
      Harold

      HaroldApril 20, 2017Staff

      Hi Leanne,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

In general, across-border assessment fee and a currency conversion assessment fee is charged when you withdraw cash from an automatic teller machine outside Australia or when you make a cash advance at international merchants in a currency other than Australian dollars.

I hope this information has helped.

      Cheers,
      Harold

      Hi Tim,

      Thanks for your inquiry.

So long that Jetstar or Qantas accepts your card as a form of payment, then you can use your Coles MasterCard for your ticket purchases with these airlines.
