Coles Mobile deals | Discount codes and coupons for July 2018

Coles isn’t solely a supermarket. It sells everything from milk to insurance, and competitive and affordable mobile plans as well.

Coles operates its own telco, Coles Mobile. You can purchase a SIM from a Coles supermarket, activate it online and you’re good to go. Plans are generous and affordable, with easy to understand options and an extended expiry period. Moreover, there’s always the convenience of being able to recharge your plan at the same time as you’re buying your groceries.

Coles Mobile offers prepaid plans running on the Optus network. You can recharge with $10, $20 or $40, depending on your needs. Whatever you choose, you will benefit from unlimited calls and texts in Australia – a huge selling point for avid chatters and texters.

The $10 recharge buys you 1GB data, $20 gets you 3GB and for $40 you will get 10GB to use anytime. Expiry dates also vary based on plan. The $10 recharge is only available 10 days, while the other two come with a 35-day expiry, which is longer than for most retailers on the market.

The $40 recharge also includes 250 standard international minutes to popular destinations like mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, UK and USA. Users can purchase extras when in need. For $5 you can buy 500MB data to last you 7 days, while $15 gets you 3GB for an entire month. International credit is also available with a 14-day expiry date.

Coles Mobile offers a 365 Days Expiry recharge as well for $180. This comes with unlimited talk/text and usually 36GB data. However, Coles is currently running a special promotion, gifting clients who chose to recharge for an entire year a 6GB data bonus. This brings your total to 42GB or roughly 3.5GB/month.
