Expert review

This cashback offer on the Citi Rewards Card is suited to people who shop with a digital wallet. So if you use Apple Pay or Samsung Pay through your mobile phone (or another device), you could get the $400 back by adding and using this card to meet the spend requirement. But if you only have Google Pay, you won’t be eligible.

How to apply

You can apply for this Citi Rewards Card offer online in around 15 minutes and you should receive a response in 60 seconds. Before you start the application, make sure you meet the eligibility requirements and have all the documents and details you need ready to go.

Eligibility criteria

  • Minimum income. You'll need to have an annual income of at least $35,000.
  • Residency. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Card benefits

  • $400 cashback offer. You'll get $400 back on your account when you apply by 28 April 2022 and spend $3,000 on eligible purchases through Apple Pay or Samsung Pay in the first 90 days from approval. The cashback will be credited to your account within 16 weeks of meeting the spend requirement. Note that cashback will reduce your credit card balance but won't count towards your repayments.
  • Balance transfer offer. Pay 0% p.a. interest for the first 15 months on balance transfers, with no balance transfer fee when you apply by 28 April 2022. At the end of the introductory period, any unpaid balance will be charged at the variable cash advance rate, currently 22.24% p.a. Please note that purchases will not be eligible for interest-free days while you have a balance transfer.

Rates & fees

  • Annual fee. Outside of any promotions, this card charges a standard annual fee of $149.
