Established in 1979, Bazaar is one of the oldest markets for locally made goods in Perth. Every year its three-day long Christmas extravaganza features over 50 local artisans selling handcrafted creations.
With jewellery, fashion, homewares and more up for grabs, whether you have something in mind or are browsing for inspiration, the Best Christmas Market is literally the best place to start.

2. QV1 Christmas PopUpmarket
Typically held at the University of Western Australia, this quarterly handicrafts market moves to the city’s QV1 foyer in December for a three-day shopping blitz. Donning the name of “Christmas PopUpmarket”, it brings 150 artists, designers and gourmet chefs under one roof during weekday lunch hours, so time-poor workers can check those presents off their lists while on break. Thoughtful, right?

5. Early Bird Christmas Emporium
Be one of those smug few who say they’ve got all their Christmas shopping sorted when December comes around by grabbing your wallet and heading to the Early Bird markets at Craigie Leisure Centre in November. Fifty stallholders are set to fill the centre’s basketball court with stocking stuffers and top-notch presents. There is balloon twisting and face painting for the kids, too.

5. Joondalup Twilight Markets
Held over five Friday evenings in the lead-up to Christmas, you’ll have little excuse not to make at least one of the Joondalup Twilight Markets nights. This is the official night market organised by the City of Joondalup so you can expect only the best gourmet foods, handmade jewellery and gifts on show. For kids, there’s roaming entertainment and activities to help get them into the Christmas spirit.
