About Battlefield 2042

Picture not described

Battlefield 2042 is the near-future followup to 2018's Battlefield V. It imagines a war-filled future with the United States and Russia battling in a world ravaged by climate change.

In addition to an action-packed story campaign, the game will feature the series' biggest multiplayer mode ever with large-scale battles of up to 128 simultaneous players. There will also be extreme weather events to keep soldiers on their toes with dynamically generated sandstorms and tornadoes.

As you'd expect from a Battlefield game, there will be a massive arsenal of weapons, vehicles, jets and choppers at your disposal. This includes futuristic equipment that hasn't been invented yet, such as robotic attack dogs and revivor pistols (the game is set in 2042.)

Battlefield 2042 is launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 22.
