ebay cheaper makeup - edited

1. eBay

If you're not already buying your makeup and beauty products on eBay, then it's time to start. As an example, I use Redken shampoo which is about $20 for the 200mL bottle at Woolworths. On eBay I can get it for $10 a bottle or $25 for a litre bottle. The only time I don't use eBay to buy beauty products is when they don't have the products I want available.

cosmetic capital - edited

2. Cosmetic Capital

If you are a big fan of drug store brands, then this is the store you need to know about. Cosmetic Capital is a discount beauty site offering up to 75% off the recommended retail price of your favourite brands. For example, $17 Essie nail polishes are $4, $50 Skin Doctors cream comes to $20 and $22 Revlon lipsticks are down to $8. The downside? This is an overstock and end-of-line site, so you won't find the complete range of products and brands here, but you will find some amazing prices.

3. Fresh Fragrances and Cosmetics

This may seem like an odd choice to put on the list since Fresh Fragrances and Cosmetics is generally more expensive. But what some people don't know is that Fresh Fragrances and Cosmetics offers price matching in addition to its global free shipping. So if you see something cheaper on another site, FFC will match it and send it for free!

4. StrawberryNET

StrawberryNET stocks over 800 beauty brands and generally lists all its products under the recommended retail price. The site offers daily deals plus gives you an increasingly better discount for every order you place. While the discount percentages are not as high as places like Cosmetic Capital, StrawberryNET carries the full range of products from the brands it stocks. This means you don't just get a discount on overstock, you get a discount on everything. Plus it stocks many high-end brands that rarely discount.

5. Cosme-De

Cosme-De is like the sister of StrawberryNET with more of a focus towards the Asian market. It stocks all the amazing Korean and Chinese beauty products that sometimes aren't available in Australia. Cosme-De stocks each brand's full or extended product range, not just overstock. It also offers daily deals in addition to prices that already fall under the RRP.

glambot - edited

6. Glambot

Glambot is a bit like eBay for makeup. People can buy, sell and swap beauty items. The sellers are mostly people clearing out their cupboards of the beauty buys they just never used, so you can score some really amazing deals on this site. Glambot does allow people to sell used products, so double-check the listing before you commit to buying.

7. Catch

You have probably heard about this site before (it used to be known as Catch Of The Day) but you might not know that Catch actually sells a lot of makeup and beauty products. Catch buys in bulk and sells in bulk. This is how they can offer such incredibly low prices. If you log on now, you'll see some of your favourite pharmacy brands for about half the price.

8. Adore Beauty

Beauty junkies all love Adore Beauty, but have you ever really properly looked through the sale section? It's fantastic. There are pages and pages of end-of-line or limited makeup products that are heavily discounted. If you like brands that are slightly higher end, this is where you should head.
