PC

Here are the week’s best PC deals in Australia.

Titanfall 2

Respawn Entertainment's mech-brawling first-person shooter Titanfall 2 is now available for purchase. Our review for the highly-anticipated sequel will be up soon, but so far its reception has been phenomenal. The original Titanfall boasted some unique gameplay ideas for its online multiplayer, but it was seriously lacking on the single player front. Titanfall 2 fixes that by adding a dedicated single player story.

Green Man Gaming is selling Titanfall 2 at $63.87.

Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars has has defined, influenced, and inspired people and creators ever since the release of Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977.

Star Wars Battlefront puts players in the boots of soldiers from both The Rebellion and The Empire where they will take part in several famous battles from the original trilogy. Armed with weapons and vehicles from the Star Wars films, players get to recreate their favourite moments from the films.

JB Hi-Fi is currently selling Star Wars Battlefront for $19.00.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

Far Cry 3 was an awesome game. I thought that the game couldn’t get any better. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon proved me wrong.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon consists of the same type of gameplay made famous by the Far Cry franchise. But, instead of taking place on a tropical island, or somewhere in Africa where you are infected with Malaria, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is set in an '80s inspired neon future. You play as Sergeant Rex Colt who has a simple mission: get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the world.

As part of the UBI30 promotion, Ubisoft is offering Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for free and can be downloaded after 9 November.

PlayStation 4

Here are the week’s best PlayStation 4 deals in Australia.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Jackal Assault VR Experience

With the recent release of VR on PlayStation 4, gamers have been seeking new and exciting ventures within the world of Virtual Reality. And, with the recent release of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, gamers have a new VR toy to play with.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Jackal Assault VR Experience puts players in the cockpit of the Jackal, a personal fighter jet featured in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Once players have buckled up, they will be launched into an action-packed VR experience where you must repel an attack during a routine training mission.

The PlayStation store is currently offering Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Jackal Assault VR Experience for free.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege

Tactical shooters have taken a back seat in recent years. The gaming industry has begun focusing on large-scale, bombastic experiences where the battlefield is total chaos.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege offers a polar opposite experience. Large maps are replaced with complex and intimate locations. Players must use their wits and reflexes, and think strategically in order to defeat their enemy. Fully destructible environments offer a new layer of strategy that elevates Rainbow Six: Siege above the competition. Death is quick and mistakes must be avoided.

Target is currently selling Rainbow Six: Siege for $34.00, which is extremely cheap.

Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2

Maybe you don’t want a large-scale or tactical shooter. Instead, you may crave something that offers a similar style of play, but doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 takes the extremely popular mobile game and applies it to a class-based shooter. Funnily enough, it actually works. Players will select from a wide range of classes on both the Plants and Zombies team. Each class offers a different and unique gameplay experience and players will need to collaborate in order to defeat their enemy,
Target is currently selling Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 for $39.00.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

The Tomb Raider franchise is one of the most famous and influential gaming franchises of all time. The main character, Lara Croft, also shares the same level of recognition.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is the latest entry in the Tomb Raider franchise, helmed by Crystal Dynamics. Players will need to survive in the harsh wilderness while being pursued by a shadow organization whose sole intent is to kill Lara Croft.

JB Hi-Fi is currently selling Rise of the Tomb Raider for $49.00.
