Make your way to Europe for less than a grand.

Sorry, this sale is no longer running. Check our list of current flight sales to find a bargain!

Now's your chance to scoop up a cheap flight to Italy with fares to Rome starting from $999 return. This price is available for departures from Perth, but you can also fly from Melbourne for $1,038 return and from Sydney for $1,039 return, plus multiple other Australian cities.

These are outstanding prices, with the cheapest of the bunch being with British Airways. Alternatively, you can save a bit of time and travel a bit more luxuriously with Singapore Airlines at the cost of around $200-$300 more.

All flights are available through Flight Centre for the period of 14 February to 24 March, which is a great time to go outside of the busy tourist season. If you're going to be staying in central Rome, you'll probably want to go earlier in February for the smallest crowds, but if you're going to be spending more time exploring the Italian countryside, it's probably worth aiming for late March, once spring has sprung.
