About air fryers

Picture not described

Air fryers are the ideal cooking appliances if you want to make oven baked meals faster or enjoy the taste of crispy fried food. They use significantly less oil than a traditional deep fryer and are much faster than other fan forced ovens due to their size. They also make cooking easy – you can basically set and forget. Some models require you to turn the food over partway or give the basket a quick shake, but this is the most you'll ever need to do.

Air fryers are a healthier option than frying in oil, although you still need to consider the type of food you're cooking. For example, store-bought oven fries use a light coating of oil and are generally high in kilojoules so you should limit them in your diet even when using an air fryer.

The best air fryer for you depends on the size of your kitchen and the number of people you're cooking for. We've included a range of size options in the deals round-up. For more information on air fryers, check out our buying guide below.
