Finder Beauty Fave: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes
Is it really the "miracle mascara"?
When Charlotte Tilbury first revealed the Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes mascara, I was pretty intrigued to see what it could do. I was born with naturally long lashes, but the tips are blonde, so most of the time, it's hard to tell how long they actually are.
When I'm on the hunt for a new mascara, I look for one that adds length and curl. Here's how the Push Up Lashes mascara held up.
The quick verdict
Why is it good? This mascara provides long-lasting volume, length and stretch.
How much is it? $48 for 10mL.
Where to buy it: Charlotte Tilbury.
The Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes is part of Charlotte's "Pillow Talk" family. If you're familiar with the brand, you'll know how iconic the shade is. There's been a number of different products inspired by the nude-pink colour, including an eyeshadow palette, lipsticks and more.
Charlotte Tilbury's Push Up Lashes – which has been dubbed the "miracle mascara" – promises to deliver instant volume, length and stretch for 24 hours.
It's been developed with an innovative paddle brush that's designed to give you ultimate precision. The bristles are formed in a diamond-shape, making it super easy to vertically coat each individual lash, giving your eye that lifted effect.
The Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes is also formulated with lash-lifting polymers, natural waxes and keratin to push up the lashes and hold them there for 24 hours. The mascara also claims to be smudge and humidity proof, ophthalmologically tested and not need the use of a lash curler.
Verdict
Because of the unique shape of the brush, Charlotte recommends a particular way for it to be used. Use the flat side to load and coat the lashes, then twist the wand to brush through and lift each individual lash.
This application method worked wonders for me. My lashes have never looked so lifted before, and this is easily one of my favourite things about the Push Up Lashes mascara. Besides that, I must say that the formulation is so easy to work with; it's not too wet or too dry.
But... did it really last 24 hours? I'll be honest, I'm not keen on wearing makeup for that long, and I don't really recommend it. While I can't promise an exact length of time, I can say that this mascara lasted well; it didn't flake and my lashes actually stayed curled. Say goodbye to your lash curler!
Affordability
If you're familiar with the Charlotte Tilbury brand, you'll know that the products don't come cheap and sit on the more pricey side. In particular, the Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes retails at $48 for 10mL and to be honest, the price point is my only negative about this product.
Do I think it's worth it? Yes. Can you find a similar mascara for cheaper? Most likely. So if you don't have the funds available, I wouldn't stress.

The one and only place to shop is of course, Charlotte Tilbury online.
