How do Cathay Pacific's Black Friday deals for 2019 compare to other deals and previous years?

In 2018, Cathay Pacific featured an earlybird sale for Black Friday which included flights from Melbourne to Dublin from $1,272 and to Rome from $1,322 return. Flights from Perth were also featured with fares to San Francisco starting at $1,393.

By comparison, Qatar Airways offered up to 10% off economy flights to select destinations in Europe while Emirates ran a sale for groups of 2–9 travellers with return fares to Dublin from $1,209 and to Rome from $1,349.
