Nearly a million Australians love Catch. Perhaps it's time for the rest of us to see what all the fuss is about.

Catch is officially the most profitable online online retailer in Australia. The Catch Group released its financial results for the last year and reported $306 million in revenue and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and the amortisation of $16 million.

The good news just keeps rolling in for Catch, which announced recently that it would be launching its very first bricks and mortar store by the end of 2017. Early reports show that the first store will be located in Melbourne, but the brand plans on further expansion into other cities soon.

The Catch Group also recently launched Catch Marketplace, a new section of the Catch website that allows existing brands to sell products through Catch. Lorna Jane and Speedo are just a few of the brands that now sell through Catch Marketplace. According to the Catch Group, Catch Marketplace is growing by over 25% in revenue week-on-week.

Catch Group co-founder Gabby Leibovich told Internet Retailing: “Looking at the graph, it’s like a hockey stick. Every day, 5-10 new sellers join, bringing thousands of new products every week. Everything sells. It’s the long tail that’s really exciting."

It's pretty clear from the number of successes the brand has had that many Australians can't get enough of Catch. The site currently has nearly one million active customers and almost 100,000 "Club Catch" members. So perhaps it's time for the rest of us get on board and see exactly why this retailer is outdoing the rest in leaps and bounds.

Catch has a stack of deals available every day on anything and everything from swimwear to food processors. Head to the Catch homepage to see what's on sale today.
