Fly to Vancouver from five Australian cities for under $1,000 return.

China Southern Airlines has caught our eye once again, offering us eye-wateringly low flights to Vancouver.

Prices start from just $949 when departing from Perth, though whichever major city you're taking off from, you won't pay more than $1,000 for your roundtrip fare.

Think Sydney to Vancouver from $968, Melbourne to Vancouver from $952, Brisbane to Vancouver from $969 and Adelaide to Vancouver from $955 return.

Travel is for peak season summer dates ranging from July-September, depending on your route.

At best, we've seen flights to Vancouver drop to $795 return on Philippine Airlines. While these fares might not be quite as cheap, they are for those ideal summer holiday months and on a 4-star full-service airline, which could be worth the extra $154.

Bookings are being taken through Flight Centre now. There's no set end date to this sale, but at prices and dates like these, we doubt it'll be long until the price begins to creep up.
