The full-service Aussie carrier has flights to the sunny beaches of LA from $889 return from Brisbane and Sydney.
Taking off from elsewhere? No sweat. Flights from Melbourne start at $919, from Perth at $953 and from Adelaide at $999 return.
Choose to travel from January to March for cool weather, from May to June for near-summer sunshine or in October to catch a bit of fall foliage. Yeah, sadly peak-summer dates are excluded but at these prices, it's kind of to be expected.

- Price: Great. As mentioned above these are the flights to beat. Their current competition is against Qantas' $949 return flights to Los Angeles which is part of its 12 Days of Christmas Sale and Air New Zealand's $909 return flights. At $889 there's no denying how cheap these seats are.
